Two Hours At The Still

Every Saturday, 2:00pm to 4:00pm  ·  $110 per person  ·  8 seats only

What the two hours hold
  • A glass of Lemon Myrtle Gin in your hand before we start. Our award winner, and the best possible introduction.
  • More than twenty botanicals to handle, smell and taste. Juniper and coriander seed you will know. Gentian, angelica and sloe berry are the ones that explain what you have been drinking all along.
  • A blending exercise, where you build a spirit to your own taste and find out how little it takes to change everything.
  • A beer through the experimental still. This is where we try things, so we are putting a beer in to find out what comes out the other side.
  • Heads, hearts and tails. Where you make the cuts is the whole craft. We show you how it is judged, then pour reprocessed hearts so you can taste what mouth feel really means.
  • Six to ten tastings across the range, including our four week old new make whisky.

Small on purpose. 8 guests is the whole room, and 4 of those are the seats at the bar.

Twenty per cent off bottles on the day. Whatever you taste and want to take home is 20% off at the cellar door. Bottles bought on the day of your workshop only.
