By the time you read this I am on a train somewhere between Spain and France. The shed is not shutting while I am away. Two French friends, Chloe and Pablo, are taking over the cellar door until I am back.
Fridays and Saturdays, 5pm to 7.30pm, from Friday 23 October to Saturday 31 October. Later than our usual 2pm start, so do not come early. The upside is the other end of the night: if the room is busy they will stay open past 7.30pm, so here is your chance to arrive a bit later and stay a little later. Check with Chloe and Pablo on the night. Shed 1, 34 Duporth Avenue, Maroochydore, down the lane behind Corbins. Keep going, it is further in than you think.
Everything is poured as usual: the gins, the vodkas, the amaro and the liqueurs, by the glass or by the bottle, and Inner Circle member prices still apply at the door. They have the recipes, the keys and my blessing.
Thursdays are closed until I am back on Thursday 12 November, and the door is shut on Friday 6 and Saturday 7 November, which Chloe and Pablo cannot do. The Distillers Workshop resumes on Saturday 28 November. The door is closed again from 14 to 21 November while I am away a second time, and then it is back to normal hours.
Table bookings are open for the Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm, or just walk in. Say bonjour from me.
