Tarragon Gin

Grown high on the balcony at the distiller’s own home, this tarragon brings a personal touch — and a bold, herbaceous character — to the glass. Often proclaimed as a favourite by regulars, it shows that sometimes the most unlikely botanicals make the most memorable gins.

Nose
Sweet, green, and fragrant. Tarragon’s unique anise-like aroma rises first, supported by gentle herbal notes that hint at the garden.

Palate
Herb-forward and delightfully smooth. There’s a natural sweetness — not from sugar or berries, but from the tarragon itself — balanced by juniper’s structure. Fresh, savoury, and complex without being heavy.

Finish
Lingering soft herbs with a sweet edge that rounds off cleanly, leaving the palate refreshed.

While we don’t usually think spirits should share the table with dinner, this gin makes us rethink the rule. Perfect as a before-dinner G&T, it also pairs beautifully with creamy French-style chicken and tarragon. Try it with tonic or soda, garnished with a sprig of fresh tarragon, mint or rosemary.
